The inStore is a multi-vendor marketplace platform connecting customers with independent stores, restaurants, and delivery partners.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, browsing, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use our Service.
3. Account Registration
- You are responsible for maintaining your account confidentiality.
- You must notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Orders & Payments
- All orders are subject to availability and confirmation.
- Prices may change without notice.
- You agree to pay all charges, including delivery fees and taxes.
- Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.
5. Delivery
- Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. The inStore shall not be liable for any delays caused by vendors, delivery partners, traffic, weather conditions, system outages, or events beyond our reasonable control.
- Delivery is deemed completed when the order is delivered to the address provided at checkout and accepted at that location.
- Risk of loss, theft, or damage to products passes to you immediately upon successful delivery.
- Orders are prepared and fulfilled by independent vendors listed on The inStore. While we facilitate the transaction and delivery process, vendors are responsible for product quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable laws.
6. Return & Refund Policy
6.1 General Returns
If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or defective item, notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Proof of purchase and photographic evidence may be required.
6.2 Perishable Goods
Perishable items (fresh food, dairy, frozen products, bakery items) may only be refunded if delivered damaged, expired, or incorrect.
6.3 Non-Perishable Goods
Non-perishable items may be returned within 7 days of delivery if unused, unopened, and in original packaging.
6.4 Refund Processing
All refund claims are subject to review and verification.
If a claim is approved and verified, refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days to the original method of payment.
6.5 Non-Returnable Items
- Opened or partially consumed products
- Items damaged after delivery
- Items returned without proof of purchase
7. User Conduct
- No illegal use of the Service.
- No false reviews or rating manipulation.
- No interference with the platform.
- No harassment of vendors or delivery partners.
8. Intellectual Property
The inStore name, logo, and platform content are owned by us or our licensors. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The inStore shall not be liable for:
- Vendor-provided product inaccuracies
- Delivery delays
- Indirect or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the previous 12 months.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
Important: The inStore is a technology platform. We do not manufacture products or prepare food. Vendors are responsible for product quality and compliance.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
